Corewell Health, based in Grand Rapids and Southfield, Mich., named Jason McCarthy, PharmD, as its next chief pharmacy officer May 17.
Dr. McCarthy was previously the senior vice president and chief operating officer of UnitedHealth Group's Optum Rx Home Infusion Division, according to a Corewell news release. Before that role, he worked for Genoa Healthcare, a specialty pharmacy company, and Kaiser Permanente Health Plan.
