People who routinely use social media platforms and patient-specific websites, or "E-Patients," are 60 percent more likely than the general population to take part in a clinical trial, according to a recent survey
Marketing firm Blue Chip Patient Recruitment conducted the survey and also found that these types of social media users are 29 percent more likely to see a physician for regular check-ups and 21 percent more likely to be the first to try new medicines.
