Former President Bill Clinton said there's a chance the Supreme Court could rule against the reform law's individual mandate to buy health insurance, but he believes the rest of the law will stay intact, according to a report by The Hill.
The Supreme Court could "strike down the mandatory purchase [of health insurance], although I find it amazing that they would," he said. "I mean, you can make people buy automobile liability insurance."
Mr. Clinton also criticized the GOP-led House's plan to replace Medicare with subsidies for insurance companies. "What this bill will do will [is] actually increase the cost of health care," he said.
