A false claims suit against Houston-based Dubuis Health System will end with an $8 million settlement from the system and one of its hospitals, according to a Law360 report.
The whistleblower suit alleged the system allowed patients to be kept longer than necessary, increasing Medicare billing and putting the system in violation of the False Claims Act, according to the report.
