Batesville, Ark.-based White River Health System partnered with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock to collaborate on research and clinical education initiatives, according to an Arkansas Business report.
Under the affiliation, the organizations will team up on clinical trials and research, develop telemedicine initiatives and provide WRHS physicians the opportunity to consult with researchers and specialists at UAMS. The health system will also serve as a clinical education site for UAMS students.
Both organizations will remain independent entities.
The financial terms of the agreement, if any, were not disclosed.
