Trinity Health, a nonprofit health system based in
Trinity Health physicians will have the ability to connect with Mayo Clinic specialists through the network. Trinity providers will also have access to information stored in the AskMayoExpert database.
The collaborative, nonownership relationship with Mayo Clinic will help Trinity achieve its strategic goal of expanding and strengthening relationships with other care systems, John Kutch, Trinity Health's president and CEO, said in a news release.
"Membership in the Mayo Clinic Care Network may be the ultimate fulfillment of that goal," Mr. Kutch said. "We're excited about what this means for our patients and communities. Working with Mayo Clinic, we'll be in the strongest position possible to deliver high-quality, best-practice care."
