Tomball (Texas) Regional Medical Center integrated operations with Houston-based HCA Healthcare's Gulf Coast Division July 1.
Officials at the 350-bed Tomball Regional hospital began their search for a partner last year. They selected the 14-hospital division of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare because of the Gulf Coast division's "[commitment] to high-quality, community-based hospitals," said John Neubauer, chairman of the Tomball Regional board of trustees.
Tomball Regional will retain its brand.
The financial terms of the integration were not disclosed.
