Portland, Maine-based MaineHealth approved an agreement to add Memorial Hospital, based in North Conway, N.H., to its network after a year and a half of discussions, according to a report by the Bangor Daily News.
The 25-bed Memorial Hospital is the first out-of-state hospital to join MaineHealth, building on an existing informal relationship between the two entities, according to the report.
The New Hampshire attorney general's office still must approve the deal. Financial details were not disclosed.
