Lehigh Valley Health Network has acquired the assets of Coordinated Health, including the system's two hospitals.
The health systems, both based in Allentown, Pa., closed the transaction after signing a letter of intent in September.
Lehigh Valley Health Network President and CEO Brian Nester, DO, said the transaction is largely focused on providing high-quality orthopedic care.
"Together, Lehigh Valley Health Network and Coordinated Health have the highest orthopedic success rates in the region and the most fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine specialists, caring for everyone from pee-wee players to Division I and pro athletes with unmatched expertise," he said in a press release.
