Alvarado Medical Group, a group of five internal medicine physicians, became the 10th Scripps Coastal Medical Center when it joined the San Diego-based Scripps Coastal Medical Group.
As part of the deal, Alvarado Medical Group has been renamed Scripps Coastal Medical Center, Alvarado Court.
Scripps Costal Medical Group includes 146 healthcare providers with locations throughout San Diego County. Scripps Health contracts for the exclusive services of Scripps Coastal Medical Group physicians through the Scripps Medical Foundation.
