Cincinnati-based Mercy Health has launched Mercy Health Select, a subsidiary organization that will contract with providers and insurers to care for set populations for capitated rates, according to a Cincinnati.com report.
The organization could help Mercy Health build an accountable care organization, though it has yet to apply to CMS' ACO program, officially known as the Medicare Shared Savings Program.
