Berkshire Health Systems in Pittsfield, Mass., has affiliated with Williamstown (Mass.) Medical Partners, a group with 19 full- and part-time physicians and mid-level providers, according to a report by iBerkshires.
As part of the affiliation agreement, Williamstown Medical Partners sold its offices to the health system for $2.5 million, according to the report. The physician group will lease back the space.
The affiliation will allow for better care coordination between and among the group's practices and Berkshire Health Systems.
