The board of governors at Wooster (Ohio) Community Hospital approved plans to commit $3.7 million toward renovating the hospital's patient tower, according to a Daily Record report.
The funds will be used to renovate the second floor of the patient tower into a 22-bed hospital-based transitional rehabilitation unit, according to the report. Patients who do not quality for care in the hospital's inpatient rehab unit will be transferred to this planned transitional rehab unit.
