Marshall, Mich.-based Oaklawn Hospital is eliminating 43 full- and part-time positions from its staff, according to a Battle Creek Enquirer report.
The hospital, which has about 980 employees, posted a $5 million loss on its operational budget in fiscal year 2014, according to the report. The layoffs account for about $3 million in savings.
The layoffs will affect employees from many departments, and about 12 percent of the affected positions are in administration.
