Orlando-based Florida Hospital, part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System, is restructuring the charitable foundations of five medical centers into one regionalized, collaborative structure, according to The Daytona Beach News-Journal.
The following hospitals' foundations will work collaboratively:
- Florida Hospital DeLand
- Orange City-based Florida Hospital Fish Memorial
- Palm Coast-based Florida Hospital Flagler
- Daytona Beach-based Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center
- Ormond Beach-based Florida Hospital Oceanside
The restructuring will result in the following appointments:
- Ken Mattison, CEO of Flagler will serve as executive champion of the new entity.
- John Subers, director of the foundation at Flagler, will continue in this role and serve as the executive director of the collaboration.
- Bill Tol will serve as director of the Florida Hospital HospiceCare Foundation.
- Maureern Mercho, former executive director of the foundation at Dunn, N.C.-based Harnett Health, will serve as director of the foundations for Fish Memorial and DeLand.
- Trace Pendry will step down as director of the foundation for Memorial Medical.
