Stanford Hospital & Clinics to Open Outpatient Cancer Center

Stanford Hospital & Clinics in Palo Alto, Calif., has announced plans for a new outpatient cancer center in San Jose, Calif.

The 70,000-square-foot outpatient facility will support the latest advances in cancer treatment and Stanford's National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center. It is expected to open in 2014.

Stanford is leasing the building from Samaritan Medical Center in San Jose, its developer, according to a San Francisco Business Times report.
