PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Wash., and the Oregon Health & Science University Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland have partnered to expand neonatal care, according to an OHSU news release.
The hospitals aim to increase local access to highly specialized neonatal services as well as access to clinical trials.
On March 1, neonatologists from OHSU Doernbecher's Neonatal Care Center will begin staffing PHSW's Holtzman Twins Neonatal Intensive Care Unit 24/7. In addition, the hospitals will share resources and cross-train medical professionals.
