A Mississippi county judge has ruled against Jackson, Miss.-based St. Dominic Hospital's plans to relocate 71 beds from its Jackson campus to a new, $121 million facility in Madison, Miss., according to a Sun Herald report.
State health officials ruled in August against the plan. The judge upheld the decision last week, saying the proposal creates a new hospital, going beyond a bed relocation, according to the report.
The hospital plans to appeal the decision.
