8 Health Systems Receive Credit Downgrades

Eight health systems across the country have received credit downgrades in the last 30 days, according to an HFA Partners report.

Health systems receiving the downgrades include:

•    Cheshire Medical Center (Keene, N.H.) — Downgraded to A from A+ (S&P
•    Citrus Memorial Hospital (Inverness, Fla.) — Downgraded to  BB+  from BBB- (Fitch)
•    Crittenton Hospital Medical Center (Rochester Hills, Mich.) — Downgraded to  A- from A (S&P)
•    Holyoke (Mass.) Hospital — Downgraded to Ba3 from Ba2 (Moody's)
•    Loma Linda (Calif.) University Medical Center — Downgraded to Baa3 from Baa2 (Moody's)
•    Madison Memorial Hospital (Rexburg, Idaho) — Downgraded to BB+ from BBB- (S&P)
•    Nevada (Mo.) Regional Medical Center — Downgraded to BB+ from BBB- (S&P)
•    Tomball (Texas) Regional Hospital — Downgraded to Ba1 from Baa3 (Moody's)

Seven hospitals received upgrades during the same time period.
