Tom Schauer has been named CEO of Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, W. Va., according to a Point Pleasant Register news report.
Mr. Schauer has been appointed to the position after serving as the hospital's interim CEO since Feb. 2011. Prior to that, he worked as the hospital's CFO since 1997. Mr. Schauer previously served in leadership roles at Middletown (Ohio) Regional Hospital and Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, Ind.
