Olean, N.Y.-based Upper Allegheny Health System has named Jeff Zewe, RN, BSN, president and CEO, the health system announced.
Mr. Zewe will begin the role on March 15. He will helm the health system as well as its Olean General Hospital and Bradford (Pa.) Regional Medical Center.
Currently, Mr. Zewe serves as senior vice president and COO of Upper Allegheny Health System. Before becoming COO in 2015, he was vice president of patient care services and CNO of the organization. He also previously was president of Excela Health Frick Hospital in Mount Pleasant, Pa.; vice president of patient care services at Excela Health Latrobe (Pa.) Hospital and Frick Hospital; and nursing director at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Zewe succeeds Timothy Finan, who is retiring.
