Aurora Colo.-based UCHealth has appointed David Williams, MD, as president and CEO of its medical group, effective Feb. 5.
Dr. Williams most recently served as chief clinical officer of UnityPoint Health in West Des Moines, Iowa, according to a Jan. 11 news release. He was also previously the president and CEO of UnityPoint Clinic and UnityPoint at Home.
In his new role, Dr. Williams will oversee a team of more than 1,610 physicians and advanced practice providers. He will succeed Michael Randle, MD, who is slated to retire in February.
