Monica Reed, MD, has been named president and CEO of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth, according to a Feb. 19 LinkedIn post from the health system.
Dr. Reed has held several leadership positions with Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth, according to the post. Those roles include chief learning officer and chief medical officer of AdventHealth's Central Florida Division, CEO of the Central Florida Division South Market and CEO of AdventHealth Celebration (Fla.).
In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development and growth of all AdventHealth assets in the Chicagoland market and collaborating with University of Chicago Medicine and other partners to optimize the total network of care in the region, according to the post.
