Jenn Freund, MSN, RN, has been appointed as the chief nursing officer for Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, S.C., according to an Aug. 21 news release.
Throughout the last four years, she has been the medical center's associate chief nursing officer. Her promotion to the full-fledged role of chief nursing officer will expand her leadership capacity. She will oversee care for the 321-bed facility and the nursing leadership teams at Trident’s satellite locations.
In this capacity, Ms. Freund will also be responsible for leading a team of more than 800 nurses and patient care technicians.
Her appointment to the role is effective immediately.
