The Reading (Pa.) Hospital and Medical Center has named Mary Agnew, RN, MS,CNS, NEA-BC, as its new vice president and CNO.
In her new position, Ms. Agnew will oversee the maintenance of high standards of professional nursing practice. She will be responsible for all professional nursing services and practice standards in the system.
Ms. Agnew previously served as the CNO of Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y., since 2007, where she was responsible for 1,100 nursing staff members.
Ms. Agnew holds a master's degree in nursing from Syracuse University.
