Cortez, Colo.-based Southwest Health System's CEO Kent Rogers, Chief Nursing Officer Karen Pasquin and Chief Ambulatory Services Officer Ken Boucher are no longer with the organization, according to The Journal.
Here are four notes:
1. A Southwest spokesperson told The Journal the executives "were separated from the organization," effective April 6.
2. The spokesperson declined to give a reason for the decision to fire the executives, only noting there was "a change in leadership direction, determined by the Southwest Health System board of directors," according to the report.
3. Surgical Services Director Kerri White and Medical Staff Services Director Shelle Zachary will take over as CNO and chief ambulatory services officer on an interim basis.
4. Southwest Health System will work with Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Corp., which provides consulting services to the system, to identify an interim CEO. Mr. Rogers served as CEO since 2015.
