Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health has named Scott Wooten CFO, beginning Jan. 15.
Mr. Wooten will succeed Bill Marlette, who came out of retirement to fill Sanford's CFO position until Mr. Wooten was hired, according to a Jan. 5 Sanford Health news release.
For eight years, Mr. Wooten previously served as executive vice president and CFO at Jacksonville, Fla.-based Baptist Health.
He also served in executive financial roles with Omaha, Neb.-based Alegent Creighton Health, AdventHealth Central Florida and AdventHealth North Texas.
Mr. Wooten graduated from Schenectady, N.Y.-based Union College and has an MBA from the University of Dayton (Ohio).
