Mercy Health-Cincinnati has hired R. Wayne Reid as COO of Fairfield (Ohio) Hospital, according to a Cincinnati Business Courier report.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Reid.
1. Mr. Reid joined Fairfield Hospital June 29. The role of COO had been held by Pat Davis-Hagens, who last year was appointed president of Mercy Health's Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati.
2. Most recently, he served as vice president of imaging at Ashland City (Tenn.) Medical Center, where he was responsible for day-to-day operations. Before that, he was administrative director of radiology for the now-closed St. Paul University Hospital in Dallas.
3. Mr. Reid graduated from California Coast University in Santa Ana, where he received a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration and a master's degree in business administration and healthcare management.
