Bob Anderson will retire as CEO of OSF HealthCare's central region, effective Jan. 3.
Mr. Anderson has been with Peoria, Ill.-based OSF for nearly 45 years, according to an Aug. 1 health system news release.
Mr. Anderson joined the organization in 1980 as a student in the Clinical Laboratory Science program and subsequently pursued laboratory leadership roles, including director from 1987 to 2005, according to the release. He later served as COO and then president for OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He has served as CEO of the OSF central region since September 2022.
OSF HealthCare is a 16-hospital system with more than 24,000 employees.
