NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell names chair of medicine, physician-in-chief

Myles Wolf, MD, was appointed physician-in-chief at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and chair of the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine.

Dr. Wolf will step into the role July 1 and will oversee the New York City-based institutions' largest clinical and academic department with 16 divisions and nearly 2,250 physicians and scientists. He succeeds Anthony Hollenberg, MD, who led the department of medicine from 2017 to 2022, according to a May 13 system news release.

Most recently, Dr. Wolf worked at Duke University School of Medicine as chief of the department of nephrology.
