Knoxville, Tenn.-based Tennova Healthcare selected Matthew Littlejohn to serve as CEO for Newport (Tenn.) Medical Center, effective Jan. 2, 2019.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Littlejohn is assistant CEO of Tennova Healthcare's North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, Tenn.
2. He was previously director of strategic planning and project management for Bon Secours St. Francis Health System in Greenville, S.C.
3. He is a member of the board of directors for the American Cancer Society-East Tennessee.
4. Mr. Littlejohn holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
