Omaha-based Nebraska Methodist Health System has promoted Josie Abboud, BSN, RN, president and CEO of Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women's Hospital, both in Omaha, to executive vice president of Methodist Health System, effective immediately.
In her new role, Ms. Abboud will retain her existing responsibilities but will add the supervision of Methodist Health System affiliate presidents to her tasks, according to a July 2 news release.
In addition, Brett Richmond, president and CEO of Methodist Fremont (Neb.) Health, was promoted to executive vice president of Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women's Hospital, effective immediately.
In his new role, Mr. Richmond will maintain leadership of Methodist Fremont Health and will supervise additional vice presidents.
