Fort Bragg, Calif.-based Mendocino Coast District Hospital named Wayne Allen interim CEO, according to the Fort Bragg Advocate-News.
Four things to know:
1. Mr. Allen previously served as CEO of MCDH from 2006 to 2008 and 2011 to 2014.
2. He has also served as CEO of Colusa (Calif.) Regional Medical Center and CEO of Coalinga (Calif.) Regional Medical Center.
3. Mr. Allen has 45 years of healthcare administrative experience.
4. He succeeds Bob Edwards, who was fired in January after the board voted in May 2018 to renew his contract through April 2022. Officials said Mr. Edwards was not fired for cause.
