Irving, Texas-based Medical City Healthcare named Laura Irvine division executive vice president and chief administrative officer, effective Aug. 1.
Ms. Irvine comes to Medical City Healthcare from Dallas-based Methodist Health System, where she served as executive vice president for integration and alignment. She joined Methodist in 1996, and served in numerous leadership roles at the health system. She also played a key role in launching Methodist Mansfield (Texas) Medical Center and developing the Sammons Trauma Tower at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
Ms. Irvine holds a master of science degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San Antonio. In her new role at Medical City Healthcare, she will focus on furthering quality, service and growth goals.
Medical City Healthcare includes 13 hospitals, more than 7,000 physicians and 14,000 employees.
