Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital named Jonathan Kraft chair of its 18-member board of trustees, effective Oct. 1.
Carl Martignetti and Diane Patrick were selected to serve as vice chairs of the board.
Mr. Kraft is president of the Kraft Group, a private holding company involved in various sectors, including the packaging and paper industry, and sports and entertainment. He has served as a member of the Massachusetts General Hospital board since 2010.
He also serves as president of the NFL's New England Patriots and Major League Soccer's New England Revolution. He is also a member of the board of directors for Boston-based Partners HealthCare
Mr. Kraft succeeds Cathy Minehan, who chaired the board for more than a decade.
Mr. Martignetti is president of Martignetti Companies, a distributor of wines and spirits. He joined the Massachusetts General Hospital board of Trustees in 2013 and has served as chair of the Massachusetts General Hospital President's Council since 2011.
Ms. Patrick is senior counsel at Ropes & Gray and has been a member of the hospital's board of trustees since 2016. She has also worked as associate vice president of human resources at Cambridge, Mass.-based Harvard University.
