Maine hospital adds new role after merging COO, CFO

Caribou, Maine-based Cary Medical Center has named Benjamin Willey to a freshly formed role: chief facilities and project officer.

Mr. Willey has managed "some 180 dwellings" throughout his career, including Lyndon Heights, a large housing complex in Caribou, according to a Jan. 8 Facebook post from the hospital. He began his orientation at Cary Medical Center on Jan. 2.

The chief facilities and project officer job came about in August, when the hospital's COO Leslie Anderson stepped down. Following her departure, the hospital promoted its CFO, Chelsea Reynolds Desrosiers, to a joint CFO/COO position.
