Main Line Health's CEO to retire after 20 years

Bryn Mawr, Pa.-based Main Line Health's long time President and CEO Jack Lynch plans to retire next June.

Mr. Lynch joined Main Line Health in 2005 and spent 20 years as president and CEO. During his tenure, the health system restructured to separate from Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health and grew to add Riddle Hospital and Miramont Treatment Center.

Safe and high quality care delivery was the focus of Mr. Lynch's tenure, and he established the system safety quality and equity committee to combine expertise from across the health system. He also developed Main Line Health's annual Healthcare Disparities Colloquium and led the system to earn recognition as a Forbes Best Employer for Diversity and a top performer on the Healthcare Equity Index.

Under Mr. Lynch's leadership, the health system built new patient pavilions at its four acute care hospitals and constructed multiple ambulatory care centers. He also grew the health system's physician network to more than 600 physicians and 300-plus advanced practice providers.

"It has been the honor and privilege of my career to serve as president and CEO of Main Line Health. The past two decades have seen the system undergo remarkable growth and transformation, positioning us as an employer and care provider of choice. It's our people who make a difference. I am extremely proud of what we have been able to accomplish together and excited for the bright future that lies ahead for Main Line Health," Mr. Lynch said.

He plans to officially retire June 30, 2025.
