LifePoint Hospitals, a hospital operator based in Brentwood, Tenn., has announced that Leif Murphy has been named executive vice president and chief development officer, effective early November.
In this new role, Mr. Murphy will oversee LifePoint's growth and development strategy, including acquisitions and partnerships, enhancement of quality of care and alignment of the company's hospitals. Additionally, he will manage in-market expansion efforts at LifePoint's existing hospitals.
Mr. Murphy joins the company from DSI Renal, where he served as president and CEO.
