Larry Goldberg, CEO of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., has been appointed president and CEO of Loyola University Health System in Maywood, Ill., according to a VUMC report.
Mr. Goldberg has served at the helm of VUMC for the past six years. Current Loyola President and CEO Paul Whelton, MD, is stepping down as a result of the completed acquisition of Loyola by Trinity Health. Mr. Goldberg's executive duties at Loyola will begin in October.
