Jefferson Hospital in Louisville, Ga., has replaced one interim with another, according to The Augusta Chronicle.
Here are four notes:
1. Jefferson Hospital named Lou Semrad III interim CEO for the next six months.
2. He replaces interim CEO Steve Widener, who has retired.
3. Mr. Semrad has four years of consulting experience with rural hospitals and 14 years of experience in administrative and patient care-related roles in hospitals.
4. In addition to his new CEO duties, Mr. Semrad will help hire a permanent CEO for the hospital.
