HSHS St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, Ill., appointed Michael Hicks president and CEO, effective April 1, according to a Herald & Review report.
Four things to know:
1. Mr. Hicks most recently served as senior vice president and COO of Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Ill.
2. He has also spent 20 years working at University of Chicago.
3. Mr. Hicks holds an MBA from Evanston, Ill.-based Northwestern University.
4. He is the permanent successor to Joan Coffman, who resigned in July 2018.l
