Four takeaways:

1. Dr. Ridge serves as the hospital's chief of staff.

2. He established and maintained a rural health practice for nearly three decades, until the practice became a part of Greene County General Hospital.

3. He has served as a delegate to the American Medical Association and American Academy of Family Physicians.

4. Dr. Ridge has also served as a past president for the Indiana State Medical Association, Indiana Academy of Family Physicians and Indiana Public Health Physicians' Association.
