Schenectady, N.Y.-based Ellis Medicine has named Paul A. Milton president and CEO, effective immediately.
Here are five things to know about Mr. Milton.
1. He had served as acting president and CEO since last February following the retirement of former president and CEO James Connolly.
2. Prior to serving as acting president and CEO, Mr. Milton was executive vice president and COO at Ellis Medicine.
3. Mr. Milton served as a community healthcare coordinator with the U.S. Peace Corps in Malawi, Africa.
4. He earned a master's degree in health services administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
5. He is a Diplomat of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
