Former DeKalb Medical Center Executive Vice President and COO John Shelton will rejoin the system next month as its president and CEO, according to a health system release.
Mr. Shelton left the system last winter to accept a position at Mobile (Ala.) Infirmary, the state's largest not-for-profit hospital. He succeeds former DeKalb Medical CEO Eric Norwood, who resigned last month. Mr. Shelton is expected to return to DeKalb Medical in November.
