Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock health system named Daniel P. Jantzen as its new CFO.
Mr. Jantzen currently serves as executive vice president of operations and COO for the health system. He will replace former CFO Robin Kilfeather-Mackey.
The change in leadership reflects the health system's focus on population health, value-based care and new payment models to improve patient care and to lower costs for families.
"Dan Jantzen is uniquely qualified to lead the increasingly complex financial functions of this $1.9 billion enterprise," said James N. Weinstein, MD, president of D-H health system. "Navigating today's health care environment, with multiple payers, numerous payment models, changing regulations and challenges at the state and federal level requires deep knowledge and a thorough understanding of all aspects of the health system and its path to the future. Having served as CFO and then diving deeply into operations for six years, Dan is a perfect choice for this critical role."
