Sheri Shapiro has been named senior executive vice president and chief strategy officer for Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health.
Ms. Shapiro brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to her new role, according to a May 11 health system news release.
Most recently, she served as executive vice president and chief strategy officer for Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health. She also served as a partner and strategic adviser with the Chartis Group.
Ms. Shapiro will begin her new role on June 5, according to the release.
CommonSpirit operates 138 hospitals and more than 2,000 care sites in 22 states.
