Chris Howe has been named assistant CEO of Commonwealth Health's Regional Hospital of Scranton (Pa.).
Here are three things to know about Mr. Howe.
1. Mr. Howe has more than 13 years of healthcare experience and six years of management experience. He has experience in a number of aspects of healthcare, including employment in hospital settings, a large private cardiology practice and a healthcare risk management consulting firm.
2. Most recently, Mr. Howe was director of nursing quality at Greenwood, S.C.-based Self Regional Healthcare.
3. He received a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
