Shakyryn Napier was named chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at Farrell, Pa.-based UPMC Horizon and New Castle, Pa.-based UPMC Jameson, The Sharon Herald reported Aug. 20.
Ms. Napier will replace John Davis, who now serves as chief nursing officer at UPMC St. Margaret. She steps into her new role on Sept. 9.
Previously, she led medical-surgical nursing operations at Cook Children's Health Care System in Fort Worth, Texas.
