Raymond Powrie, MD, was named chief clinical officer of Care New England Health System, the Providence, R.I.-based organization said Aug. 23.
Dr. Powrie is chief of medicine at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence and executive chief of medicine at Care New England.
Additionally, he is a professor of medicine at Brown University's medical school and president of Care New England's indemnity programs.
