Bluefield (W.Va.) Regional Medical Center tapped Timothy Bess to serve as CEO, effective Feb. 4, according to the Bluefield Daily Telegraph.
Here are three things to know:
1. Mr. Bess most recently served as CEO of Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky.
2. His previous experience includes serving as CEO at Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, Va., and system vice president of patient and support services at Thomas Health System in South Charleston, W.Va.
3. He holds an MBA from the University of Charleston (W.Va.).
